Trade Program Terms & Conditions

QUALIFYING

KODAMA Trade membership is granted only to designers, architects, developers, set designers, contractors, verified vacation rental owners, property managers, and members of design and architecture firms in the United States and Canada. Membership is subject to the following terms and conditions, which may change, without notice, from time to time at the sole discretion of KODAMA. KODAMA reserves the right to discontinue the Trade Program at any time and at KODAMA’s sole discretion.

Each applicant must apply for membership by submitting their individual credentials. An eligible member must be an individual and not a business or entity; multiple individuals employed by a single business or entity may apply individually by submitting separate applications and gaining approval, but the business or entity itself will not qualify for KODAMA Trade membership. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is non-transferable, and misuse may result in termination. Misuse includes, without limitation: using the trade discount for personal purchases, any resale of merchandise purchased using the trade discount through any retail outlet (e.g., resale on or through any retail or auction website or store); reimbursement of trade discount upon merchandise return; transfer of membership; and submitting false, expired, or misleading information in connection with a membership application. KODAMA reserves the right to review and terminate a member’s eligibility if KODAMA believes, in its sole discretion, that a membership has been misused.

MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNT

Members receive a discount on list-price merchandise at KODAMA online, with no minimum purchase required and cannot be applied to reduced price, sale, or clearance merchandise. Discount applies to merchandise only, excluding outlet items, floor samples, gift cards, taxes or other fees, and shipping, and it cannot be combined with other promotions or offers, applied to past purchases or future deliveries, nor redeemed for cash. Custom orders and products will be quoted individually. KODAMA reserves the right to change the list of eligible items at its sole discretion without notice.

The discount is a tiered system, based on the members cumulative order value (after discount) over the previous 12 month period. For firms, it is recommended that all orders are associated with the same member (email) to ensure the proper cumulative summation. The discount tier is automatically adjusted as order value changes over this previous 12 month period. Tiers are as follow, based on previous 12-month cumulative order value:

 
Shipping is charged as a flat rate based on original (pre-discount) total order value, as follows:

KODAMA is not responsible for any, duties, taxes, customs fees, import/export clearance fees, storage or insurance (if applicable).

HOW TO ORDER

To access your Trade Discount, Login to the KODAMA website with the email associated with your membership. Prices reflected on the website are specific to your Discount Tier. Orders may be placed directly online, or this online pricing can be used to populate your own Purchase Order.

• Purchase Orders are preferred for larger orders, custom items, modifications, COM fabric orders, or orders with logistic management needs - or as directed by your firm. KODAMA will verify the PO and issue a pro-forma invoice with payment terms.
• Online Orders are preferred for smaller orders of standard product options.
